You may never have thought of your CNC router as the best machine that you have in your shop to sand profiles. Your CNC is a precision cutting machine that is also capable of being a precision sanding machine. We have brand new solutions for precision sanding. With the advent of automatic tool changing, your CNC router can now be an automated dual purpose machine, both shaping and sanding your profiles in one operation. And this includes curved parts, not just straight ones. With our system, even without ATC, you will still be ahead by profiling a batch of parts, then sanding them on the same machine. Think about it: just how much labor and time is spent in your shop manually sanding profiles, especially curved profiles, such as the panels and top rails in cathedral raised panel doors? How much money could you save if this tedious process was automated, and if there were few if any re-sands? Please spend a few minutes reviewing our FAQ page, and if you are interested, send me a note.
Do you spend a fortune in hand-sanding labor? Do you have a precision CNC router to dimension or profile furniture parts, but have to remove them from the machine to hand sand, or use a manual sanding wheel, edge sander, or some other archaic device? Have you tried those impractical sanding wheels that use flimsy strips of sandpaper that load up or disintegrate quickly? We can help you. We have products and solutions for this, and it won't break your budget. Please see the "About Us" page for background information then check our Mission Statement. See the "Contact Us" page for contact info.

I spent seven years in the business of refacing/refinishing kitchen cabinets, and learned to make old cabinets look brand new, even completely restyled. And it is not always neccesary to replace the doors and drawer fronts to achieve a dramatic new look. I even know how to make those WWII era metal cabinets look just like wood, at a fraction of the cost of new cabinets. While in that business, I learned many tricks of the trade, and I am thinking of publishing a book revealing the trade secrets that I used to the do-it-yourselfer or potential entrepenuer. This is a viable low-tech process that doesn't require specialized tools. Please drop me a line at info@ibentmypencil.com if you are interested.
It is simply the most user-friendly and reliable CNC machine out there, and it's proudly made in Texas. I have worked with MultiCam machines from Skarie Inc. for years, and I highly recommend them. The price and quality will pleasantly surprise you too, especially if you've been looking at some of those well-known European machines. Go to www.skarie.com to have a look, and click on the MultiCam link while there. True, the Skarie Web site isn't so impressive, or scary (well, I shouldn't throw stones), but I know from personal experience the service is impressive, so please forgive them for the Web site. Also, please do yourself a favor and give Carmel Kelly a call at Skarie Inc. Tell him I said hello. (410) 728-6000 -Dixon
